T O P I C R E V I E WXerxesWould anyone mind sharing their personal experience(s) of Neptune transits to their personal planets?I want to preface my account of how Neptune is affecting me personally by sharing that I have seen a distinct Neptunian influence in the general population as of late. Many people have shared with me their random feelings of discontent, absentmindedness, forgetfulness, and general confusion. While each person has attributed it to "change of weather", or "that time of year", I can't help but feel that transiting Neptune at 10 degrees Pisces, the midpoint of royal stars Aldebaran and Antares, has something to do with it. 10 degrees Pisces technically squares both points, therefore I tend to think this configuration would have something to do with a "collective Neptunian" transit as we've all got royal stars in our chart, whether or not they're activated by personal planets. What do you all think?I'm currently at the precipice of a Neptune square to my natal Moon at 11 degrees Gemini. My story begins last Monday. As I hadn't been up to date with any ephemeris, I had no idea what I was in store for. I woke up on Monday, March 14 feeling "off". I couldn't define why or even what I was feeling, but by 4pm, I was bench-pressing at the gym, when I began balling for no apparent reason. Not only was it surprising because of the context of what I was doing when I began to cry, but the notion of me crying in general is a laughable one. Having a potent air energy in my chart, emotional outbursts are simply not my thing. Naturally, I googled an ephemeris, and sure enough, Neptune had just entered 10 degrees Pisces. Not only is 10 degrees Virgo my Moon/Mercury midpoint, but Neptune had moved to one degree away from an exact square to my Moon on Gemini. Since last Monday, I've been subject to what I would render Neptunian pandemonium. I should add that Neptune has been squaring my natal Mercury at 8 degrees Sagittarius for a year now, but I was able to cope with any "Neptunian" effects that transit induced. Under my Mercury-Neptune transit, I was inspired, got deeper into yoga, read up on spiritual matters and was just not as mentally agile as a Mercury in Sag might otherwise be. I could live with that. What I didn't foresee was the havoc Neptune would (insofar) wreak once it squared my moon. In retrospect, I should have foreseen it - the Moon is the most heavily aspected planet in my chart, touching all but two planets.Though my Neptune square Mercury transit did cause undue anxiety in regard to my health (Virgo ruler of my 12th), I did my best to transcend any hypochondriacal fits I found myself in. With Neptune now squaring my Moon, I find myself more forgetful than ever before - in regard to what time appointments are, if I brushed my teeth this morning, how many sets of a certain exercise I did at the gym, where I left the keys - I'm also extremely foggy brained and have what seems like an ongoing headache for a while now, am ridiculously tired and require more sleep than ever before (I've read about Neptune's "eternal slumber"). I'm less able to retain knowledge dispersed in convo - my mind drifts aimlessly. Naturally, I begin to think there must be something wrong cognitively, but if I consider Neptune's transit, all of these "symptoms" sound fairly commonplace to what I've read up on. I've felt emotionally overwhelmed and for the first time ever (Libra rising) I feel the need to retreat to isolation and be alone with my seemingly overwhelming yet ambiguous undefined, unstable emotions.Something else worth noting is what I've noticed as potentially the power of manifestation under this transit, or dare I say, synchronicity. For example, an inordinate number of people have exclaimed they were "just thinking of me" when I see them/talk to them/text them within the last two weeks. I've also been thinking extremely arbitrary thoughts during a convo with someone in regard to a topic irrelevant to my wandering thoughts, when the person I'm conversing with "randomly" brings up this arbitrary thought of mine as if it were there's to begin with. It's happened twice in the last week. Could this be Neptune's infamous blurred boundary effect, and I'm picking up what they actually feel and think it's my feelings? If this is the case and a Neptune transit has the potential power to manifest via synchronicity, I will gladly and tirelessly call upon the best energy and thoughts to get me through this transit!Anyhow, sorry for ranting, but this recent bout of Neptunian occurrences has this self-proclaimed anal-retentive control-freak beside himself! Moon rules my 10th House, so I'm hoping if I harness Neptune energy correctly, it will translate to prosperous creativity in my career (I've been notably more inspired to write poems and dance as of late). I'm also a singer, and have found it therapeutic to sing since Neptune hit - almost as if the adverse Neptunian effects vanish when I do. Anything you may be able to offer would offer me insight, I'm sure. What were your Neptune transits like? What did you learn, what are coping tips, what to watch out for? I'll take it all!I do have to say I feel Neptune is a planet that brings you to your knees to make you see you're part of a deeper larger more unified collective - therefore rids the native of ego by whatever means possible. Do we agree? ReadingTheStars95I've been experiencing very similar things. I found out in late January I was extremely deficient in vitamin D..You may also be dealing with a deficiency. It really screws with a lot of things. Fatigue, forgetfulness, vision changes, weakness, feeling like you are practically drunk/high even when you're sober.. Really, I'd call it derealization to be more specific. Not to say this is all from the deficiency.. But, doing some research, I found that a lot of people with it were also experiencing these things. Especially the mental foggyness and forgetfulness. Another weird occurrence a lot of people seemed to have with the deficiency were jaw pain.. Could be what you are feeling as a headache. Could also be that when they checked my thyroid last, my ranges were in the "subclinical hypothyroidism" levels. Hypothyroidism can also cause forgetfulness... So, in my case, the combination of these things could have something to do with it. But, when I originally was diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency and was experiencing the derealization, my thyroid levels were at a normal level. I also have Transit Neptune square Natal Moon. You may want to get your vitamin D levels checked, if at all possible. It seems it can cause a lot more problems than people realize. It also takes a few months to get it back to normal, then sometimes a few more to actually feel more normal once the range is where it needs to be. You may also want to get your thyroid checked. The transit definitely outlines this energy though, in my opinion. It could easily be nothing physical in your situation.. But, if you can at least check those levels, it may be of benefit.I don't mean to tell you what to do.. But, after reading other people's experiences with the deficiency, and experiencing it first hand, I just want to put it out there as a possible cause.teaselThe crying was unbearable - and I'm one who thinks it's healthy to cry. I keep forgetting to take Vitamin D, but that, Vitamin B12, SAM-e, are all in my arsenal.Xerxes quote:Originally posted by ReadingTheStars95:I've been experiencing very similar things. I'm looking for the silver lining here!ReadingTheStars95Well, Saturn rules my 4th house. My MC is Cancer. My Moon is in Sagittarius conjunct Jupiter. At the moment, I'm trying to make my angles as precise as possible.. And, that would either put my Moon in the 2nd or 3rd.. Jupiter is in the 3rd. I have to emphasize, that if possible, to actually get the bloodwork checked for it. Sunlight alone is sometimes not enough right away once you get deficient enough. There are some pretty natural supplements out there. It may not be the ideal way of getting it, but, you may have to make do for a short period of time. Regardless.. I'm wishing you the best. this transit has definitely been crazy. This transit started for me about a year ago. I think a lot of what I've been experiencing has brought me to a point of desperation that has been pushing me to make some really big changes.firemoonedit, sorry perhaps I'm still under the neptunian haze and I'll have to come back later if/when I'm feeling more clear headed to write about this transit..You are definitely on the right track though about manifestation and synchronicity. As this transit progresses you'll likely be in awe of how real these underlying currents can really be. So yes choose the right people and energies to be around because you'll soak up your surroundings like a spounge.Anyway in all honesty you seem miles ahead of where I was when I started this transit so I'm sure you'll do just fine StubbornVirgoMy Pisces ASC, my Virgo stellium, and my Gemini Moon/Mars have been and continue to be affected by Neptune. I already had health issues before this transit, and they were made worse when Neptune was in my 12th house. To be honest, I would probably still be suffering if I didn't decide to be absolutely adamant about my health. I couldn't do that when Neptune was exact my ASC, though. It seems like the further it moves away, the clearer my mind gets and the more able I am to really take care of myself. In the midst of it, I cried a lot and didn't want to leave the house. (I'm a Gemini Moon and while that doesn't mean I'm not emotional in my own way, I usually bounce back a lot quicker.) I second the empath tendencies. Neptune kind of "woke up" my Pisces ASC. I've also been feeling a lot more withdrawn and quiet - but it's a comfortable kind of quiet, like there's no need to fill silence with words. I'll be interested to see if that sticks around after Neptune moves on.ReadingTheStars95In my case, I already have Moon semi-square Neptune in my natal. I feel like this transit may kind of be highlighting that energy a bit along with everything else it has been possibly influencing.Gemmi quote:Originally posted by ReadingTheStars95:I've been experiencing very similar things.
